2017年6月の始動以来、t.n.A.f.t.はアナーキーシャツを通して、1976年前後のパンクファッションに込められた思想や判断を読み解き、自分自身の視点で現代へ翻訳してきました。

t.n.A.f.t.が制作するのは、単なるレプリカではありません。

オリジナルを観察し、
なぜその形になったのか。
なぜその色なのか。
なぜ、その痕跡が残されているのか。

その背景にある判断を考え、自分自身の判断として一着のシャツに落とし込んでいきます。

過去の作品をもとにした制作依頼にも対応しています。
ご希望のイメージに近づける努力はしますが、手作業による加工や一着ごとの判断によって生まれるため、過去の作品と全く同じものにはなりません。

それもまた、t.n.A.f.t.の作品が一点ずつ異なる理由です。

【Production】
信頼できる縫製士による仕立てと、制作者・大谷による手加工。
効率や均一性を優先するのではなく、一着ごとの判断を積み重ねながら制作しています。
手を動かし、考え、また手を動かす。
その繰り返しによって、シャツは完成します。

【Concept】
1976年のオリジナルを尊重しながらも、表面的な再現を目的とはしていません。
素材、色、加工、配置。
一つひとつの判断を自分自身で選び、オリジナルの精神を、自分の時代の作品として翻訳する。
t.n.A.f.t.にとって、アナーキーシャツは「思考を形にするための媒体」です。

“My own truth, rather than someone else’s correctness.”

Since its launch in June 2017, t.n.A.f.t. has explored the ideas and decisions embedded in punk fashion of the mid-1970s through the Anarchy Shirt, translating them into contemporary work through my own perspective.

What t.n.A.f.t. creates is not simply a replica.

I observe the originals and ask:

Why was it made this way?
Why this color?
Why was this particular trace left behind?

I consider the decisions behind what I see, then translate those decisions into each shirt through my own judgement.

I also accept requests based on past works.
I make every effort to bring a new piece as close as possible to the desired image, but because each shirt is individually hand-finished and shaped by decisions made during the process, it can never be exactly the same as the original piece.

That difference is part of what makes each t.n.A.f.t. piece one of a kind.

【Production】
Each shirt is tailored by a trusted seamster and finished by hand by the creator, Hiroyuki Otani.
Rather than prioritizing efficiency or uniformity, I work through each piece by making decisions specific to that individual shirt.
I work with my hands, think, adjust, and work again.
That process is part of the work.

【Concept】
While respecting the originals of 1976, I do not aim to reproduce them on the surface.
Materials, colors, treatments, placement.
Every decision is made deliberately, translating the spirit of the originals into work of my own time.
For t.n.A.f.t., the Anarchy Shirt is a medium through which thought is given form.
